Eric Bean
Ph.D., CMPC, PCC
Dr. Bean is an executive coach, leadership consultant, and the Director of High Performance at HigherEchelon based in San Diego, CA. A published, peer-reviewed author, Dr. Bean has taught graduate-level Leadership courses at Boston College and holds a Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise Psychology. He is a keynote speaker, host of the Coaching Through Stories: Lessons in Leadership and High Performance podcast and has served on the Executive Board for the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
Dr. Bean has worked extensively with elite performers across diverse, high-stakes domains, including Army Special Forces, Navy SEALs, surgeons, Fortune 100 leaders, and professional athletes. He partners with organizations in both public and private sectors, such as one of the Big Four consulting firms and the Veterans Benefit Administration, to design and implement customized solutions for leadership, culture, and team performance.
Dr. Bean is passionate about helping both high achievers and struggling performers unlock consistent, powerful performance. His approach focuses on the psychology of high performance, strengthening a leader’s ability to create a culture consistent with their values and vision and perform their best when it matters most.
In addition to work, Eric enjoys applying what he teaches to competitive golf, spending time in nature, and being the best father and spouse he can be.
